What We Do

INUSA bylaws spelt out in its Constitution are the guiding principles by which INUSA operates. In this important document, it specifies that INUSA SHALL EXIST TO:

1. Support and assist in the desperate health care needs of Ihiala people.

2. Improve the deteriorating education and schools available to Ihiala citizens. Promote scholarships and pursuit of educational excellence.

3. Contribute to reducing the high crime rate and security concerns in Ihiala town.

4. Foster Unity among its members for the purpose of coalescing our resources and strengths in developing initiative-taking strategies, through sharing information and utilizing knowledge in developing initiatives to improve the lives of Ihiala people.

5. Promote Ihiala and Igbo cultures in the United States for the beauty of these cultures, the knowledge of values they disseminate, and sustaining the cultures through generations that are unborn in Nigeria and in diaspora.

In Conducting the Above (Stated) goals and objectives: INUSA resolves to engage in Charitable activities that will uphold:

(a) Uphold the dignity and fundamental rights of the Ihiala people.
(b) Empower the needy and less fortunate among Ihiala people and beyond.
(c) Promote good health, education, and security in Ihiala.
(d) Engage in activities that will foster peace, unity, progress, and overall development of Ihiala town.
